This last weekend, 9U Riptide played in their very first tournament which was held at the NW Hub in Centralia. The team won their first game 13-1. Jared Pugsley hit a homerun during this game. Riptide took the second game 6-3 to move on the championship game. Riptide faced Puyallup Diamond Jax in the championship game. Unfortunately, Riptide lost 7-4 to a great competitor. The athletes learned many lessons this weekend including areas to focus for improvements and strengths to grow more. In between games, athletes got to enjoy some swimming pool time, as well as, donuts the size of their heads at the end of the tournament!
Riptide is extremely proud of all of our 9U athletes! They finished strong and worked hard all weekend. Comments are closed.
